Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 11, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use Joker Obfuscator (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. The Service is operated by Joker Obfuscator ("we", "us", or "our").

The short version: we collect what we need to run the Service, secure it, and bill for it. We do not sell your personal data.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account identifiers: your email address, and your Discord identifier if you link Discord or use our Discord bot.
  • Usage and service metadata: things like which languages and protection options you use, file sizes, timestamps, credit balance and spending, and API usage volumes.
  • Security data: your IP address and related connection information, which we use for security, anti-abuse, fraud prevention, and rate limiting.
  • Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We receive transaction status, amounts, and limited billing details. We do not store your full card number.
  • Support communications: the content of support tickets and messages you send us.

2. The Code You Submit

Your code is processed only to generate the transformed output, which is returned to you. It is handled transiently in an isolated environment, and the uploaded file is deleted as soon as processing completes. We do not retain your source code or the transformed output.

The one exception is the optional premium Vault feature. If you choose to save a script to the Vault, we store that script so it can be delivered to your users through our loader. This applies only to scripts you deliberately place in the Vault, and you can delete them at any time.

To show you your obfuscation history and to protect the Service from abuse, we keep limited metadata about each job, such as the file name, the input and output sizes, timing, and whether it succeeded. We do not keep the contents of your code.

Submissions are also screened for malware and indicators of abuse, as described in our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your code, we do not use it to train machine learning models, and we do not share it with third parties except where required by law or necessary to investigate abuse of the Service.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Service.
  • Process payments, manage credits and subscriptions, and prevent fraud.
  • Protect the Service and its users, including enforcing rate limits and detecting abuse.
  • Respond to support requests and send service-related communications, such as receipts and important account notices.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

4. Cookies and Sessions

We use cookies and similar browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember essential preferences. These are functional cookies required for the Service to work. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

5. How We Share Information

We share personal data only in the following situations:

  • With Stripe, to process payments and manage billing.
  • With third-party infrastructure providers that host and deliver the Service on our behalf, under obligations that limit their use of your data to providing those services.
  • When required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or where necessary to protect our rights, our users, or the public.
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your data until it is amended.

6. Data Retention

We keep account information for as long as your account is active and for as long as reasonably needed afterwards for billing records, security, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Security and anti-abuse data is retained only as long as needed for those purposes. When data is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymize it.

7. Your Rights and Account Deletion

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated personal data. We will honor deletion requests except where we are legally required to keep certain records, such as billing history.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know, the right to delete, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights. We do not sell personal data as those laws define the term.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected] or open a support ticket from your dashboard.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
